Hi everyone!
I'm back with my final thoughts on the remaining flavors of Ben & Jerry's new Frozen Dessert flavors.
In my previous post, I did a review of their chocolate fudge flavor. This review will be a run down of their other three flavors.
Let's start with the flavor that I liked the most.
Coffee Caramel Fudge
This one had a really nice creamy texture and the caramel was flavorful and not simply sweet. The 'Fudge' chips were rather chalky, though, and if they had used the chocolate from the Chunky Monkey flavor, or even a fudge swirl like the caramel, that would have been better.
For the record, So Delicious does a really good version of this type of flavor, and I actually prefer that one (the container is twice as large and the same price).

The next flavor is the PB & Cookies.
This one did disappoint.
The cookie was rather flavorless and the peanut butter was so overpowering that it just dominated the flavor of the ice cream after the first bite.
I think if they had done just a cookies and 'cream' with a known brand of sandwich cookie, like the delicious Newman O's, it could have worked. Or just better added ingredients.

The last flavor is a Ben & Jerry's classic.
I should say that I'm not a big fan of banana flavored anything. As with peanuts, I prefer to eat them solo, because when mixed, in any form, their flavored DOMINATE whatever they are mixed with, and this is not exception.
The ice cream was nice and creamy, but the banana flavor, and that's what it was, tasted like candy, and I don't mean that in a good way. The walnuts were a nice brake from the sugar banana flavor, but in the grand scope of things I wouldn't buy this flavor even if it was yummy.

My overall thoughts on these flavors is that they could be better. I know this was a major undertaking for Ben and Jerry's, and I hope they do more flavor research and work on making the flavors work instead on trying to make them taste so much like "real" ice cream, or like the non-vegan flavors. If the flavors have their own yummy properties, then they won't be competition for the non-vegan flavors, but simply add more choice.
Will I buy these again? No. Frankly there are better flavors for companies that have been making these longer. I'm also not keen on the almond milk. I don't know why there is such a stigma on soy and coconut milks. Perhaps a blend for added creaminess? I want them to work on these recipes more and perhaps with some more trying they can improve them.
